How profile verification works
An optional selfie review can add context to a profile, but safe dating still depends on your own judgement.
Submit a selfie image
A signed-in member can submit a current selfie from the account area. The file is converted to WebP and stored in a private verification area.
Review and badge
The submission is reviewed against the member's profile. An approved profile may display a verified badge; rejected or pending submissions do not.
Know the limit
The badge is an extra signal, not proof of identity, intentions, relationship status, criminal history, or safety. KhmerDate does not conduct criminal-background checks.
Privacy and safer dating
The selfie is used for verification review and is not presented as a public profile photo. Read the Privacy Policy for retention and data rights. Never send money, meet first in a public place, and use Report and Block when something feels wrong.
